Megan Cortney is a dedicated community leader with a strong background in higher education, evaluation, and a passion for social impact. A proud first-generation American and lifelong Southern Nevada resident, Megan earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vega.

In 2021, Megan joined United Way of Southern Nevada as the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation. As the current Senior Director of Community Impact, she leads a team dedicated to addressing critical community needs and oversees the strategic direction, implementation, and evaluation of these programs, ensuring equitable access to programs and services for all.
