AI and the Learning Team: What Will the Future Hold?

Learning teams are under growing pressure to respond to rapid advances in AI, often without clear guidance on what AI means for their roles, skills, and value. Many leaders are asking the same questions: Which parts of our work will change? What remains uniquely human? And how do we prepare our teams without chasing hype or creating fear? Without a practical framework, organizations risk either over-automating learning work or missing meaningful opportunities to augment it.

This session reframes AI not as a replacement for learning professionals, but as a teammate; one that expands capacity, accelerates insight, and reshapes how learning teams create impact. Participants will explore how AI is already influencing learning design, curation, analytics, and enablement, and will use a clear, human-centered framework to determine what learning teams should keep, learn, and let go of as AI adoption grows.

Attendees will actively participate through short reflection prompts, live polls, and a guided Keep / Learn / Let Go activity they can immediately apply to their own teams. Real-world scenarios will invite discussion and peer learning, ensuring the session is practical—not theoretical.
